i think kung fu schools nowadays lost their touch, because the skills they teach u are supposedly so lethal, that you never have a chance to practice it on anyone. yes, its a street fight, and it’s for survival, but correct application calls for not only doing your forms, but actually hands on sparring. And because you cannot tear someone’s eye out while you spar, you never really practice these techniques on anyone, and I think that’s what turns it least practical.
